Special Olympics Nebraska transforms the lives of people with intellectual disabilities through programs in Sports, Health and Education. We are excited to collaborate with the Enable Savings Plan to help build the financial health and wellness of our athletes both here in Nebraska and beyond. Enable will allow our athletes the ability to support themselves, plan for their future, and not risk the loss of important services and benefits they receive. Now our athletes are free to independently pursue their hopes and dreams just like their typically developed peers.
Jason Gieschen, a Special Olympics Nebraska athlete and Sargent Shriver International Global Messenger for Special Olympics had the following to say: “I have been waiting for this opportunity to have a savings plan without penalties. The ENABLE Savings Plan gives me the ability to save for my future. Now I can look forward to a worry free financial future—just like the rest of my family.
